When You Should Not Use an Online Casino Bonus

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

When you decide to play online poker and visit a website, you will see that there are often sign-up bonuses offered to you. Various websites have different percentages of bonuses they grant and it can be very tempting to join a website, which offers a high bonus, as you can have an increased bankroll, which translates into more fun while playing online. However, as with anything, online bonuses also have their own pros and cons and before agreeing to one, review the following tips.

First, be careful of any situation where the minimum gambling amount is extremely high, in order for you to fully utilize the online bonus. Almost all the websites, which offer bonuses, have set a wagering limit that you have to fulfill in order to be eligible for the bonus. This may be acceptable, because the entire purpose of offering bonuses is to attract more players to the website. Nevertheless, if the gambling conditions are terribly demanding and are significantly more than the money that you have deposited, then it simply might be pointless, as your bonus will be gone before you can receive it, and you might not fulfill the conditions in the required time span. For example, some casinos may offer up to a $1000 sign-up bonus, however, in order to actually withdraw any money from the casino, you must first wager a total amount equal to 40 times the bonus value and not all games are eligible for consideration of the wager.

There will be numerous websites on the internet that will offer you huge bonuses, and although it is very tempting to jump at the opportunity, if the site does not have a good reputation, then chances are you might not get what you had hoped for. That said, before signing up for anything, you might want to do some research on website. Make sure that the website is not just a fraud to rip you off of your money, especially if the reward is unusually high. Do your research by reading different blogs and seeing user satisfaction reports in order to get a better idea about the website. Reading blogs and checking the ratings for the website is a great idea to find out whether the website is trustworthy and whether it is worth spending money on or not.

As there is competition in all walks of life, these gambling websites are no less fierce. All the websites will be in competition for the bonuses that they offer in order to attract the maximum number of players possible. Bear this in mind before signing up with a website in haste just because they offer a good bonus. Instead, try to compare bonuses from different sites because there will surely be a website which has an even better bonus for you. In addition, the bonus rates are not fixed quantities and can change from time to time. If you are positive that an even better bonus price will be offered in the future, just be patient and wait for that bonus to arrive. As they say, patience is a virtue, and all things come to those who wait.

Even if you have signed up for a website and you find a better bonus later on, you should know that you can always switch; just make sure you do not fall for the traps laid out by the websites.– Rather, use your better judgment when signing up, make sure to read everything fully, and compare all options available to you to realize the best return possible.

Best Online Casinos – Bonuses

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

The best online casinos have their own comp. systems. These come in the form of bonuses. Usually they are sign up bonuses to get you to try out the casino and see if you like it. But some offer ongoing bonuses to big players.

The best online casinos all have different bonus programs. It is beneficial to players to know what these bonuses are really about so they will know exactly what kind of comps they are getting.

The best online casinos actually spell out their bonuses pretty clearly, but some do not,

Frankly, online bonuses are like coupons, and savvy shoppers can clip out the best ones. They essentially give you extra dollars for the ones you already invest. Some you have to play more to get, others you don?t.

In essence, there are two kinds of bonuses: first-time bonuses to get you in the site, and long term bonuses for loyalty.

If you are a frequent player, you want the best online casinos to reward you for loyalty and lots of play. First-timer bonuses come and go.

Shop around at the best online casinos for the most liberal long term bonus programs.

If you dabble your toe in the water, you want exactly the opposite. Bounce around and get your first-timer bonuses, play a little and move on.

If you want to play at a place long term and benefit from that, it behooves you to contact customer service at a site and ask them about long term bonuses. If they have them, they will tell you. If you have to keep up a certain level of play to achieve that, you will now know.

Casinos are in competition with each other for your money. As many as there are, the best online casinos still care very much about getting big players and keeping them.

You, on the other hand, are the shopper with your coupons. If you are going to visit a store once, then you will take the coupon, buy and leave. If you like it you might come back.

But if you are going to frequent a store for a long time, you want to constantly be given coupons and rebates, because the money you spend in that store will offset what they give you.

In essence, that?s all the bonuses at the best online casinos really are. But like real coupons, they have fine print, and if you want to get the most value, make sure you read that fine print. You might find that you aren?t getting what you wanted. You might also discover that if you do a little extra digging, you will get everything you wanted and more.

Best Online Casino Bonus That Money Can Kiss Good-bye

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

Contrary to popular belief among online gamblers, bonus size doesn’t really matter.

“Huh? Did I just read that right? How BIG a free cash hand-out is, doesn’t matter, you say?”

Precisely. Unless of course you’re only into gambling for short-term gains, that is until you hit the mega-million jackpot which should take no more than say a few weeks… months at tops.

The fact of the gambling matter is – and any successful gambler will concur – that if you’re looking to gambling not only as a means of pleasure and excitement, but as source of income as well, then you’d better be planning for the long run because that what it’s gonna take to come out ahead financially, along with savvy playing skills and regular laptop dances with Lady Luck.

True, the bonuses being offered by the 2,000+ online casinos and poker rooms are indeed getting bigger, better and more tantalizing by the day. This trend is also certainly expected to continue as the competition among casino and poker room operators to attract new players continues to heat up all across the global playing field. But could there possibly be more to the big picture than meets the eye?The name of the gamin’ game is…

Although the online gambling biz has only been in existence for a mere 15 years or so, what history does teach us thus far is that, more than how beefy a bonus promotion may appear to be, the real meat which determines whether a particular online casino is a leader or a loser lies in Customer Support. “Huh?” again you mumble. That’s right; customer support, customer service, customer care; whatever you – “the customer” – wants to call it. Sure we can list a number of reasons why, again in the long run, you’re better off passing up the humongous bonuses and investing in those online casinos known to be providing the highest level of support, be it by phone, email, fax or increasingly more via online chat. But the number one reason why superior Customer Support translates into greater overall winnings and more fun for players is that these same online gambling firms are also the most successful at what they do. Hence, they can much better afford to provide better services including not only better games, but higher payout percentages and faster cash outs. While new online gamers may be swiftly and easily taken in by those ubiquitous bogus bonus offers, the rest of us (and we number in the millions) “won’t get fooled again,” to quote the Prophet Pete Townsend. Who?Bonuses! Bonuses! Bonuses!

These bonuses, in case you’re new to the iGaming scene, begin with what have become affectionately known as either ‘Match Bonuses’ or ‘Sign-up Bonuses,’ that is to say, a free cash awarded to a new player registering with an online gaming website and depositing funds to be used for future wagers. Basically how they work is this: A player depositing $100 for example with an online casino offering a 100% match bonus up to say $300, will in turn receive $200 worth of credit in their new casino account. There are always terms and conditions attached to these freebies, such as a minimum number of hands or rounds you must play through in order to reap your reward, so buyer beware.

Additional bonuses are also awarded by online casinos and the like to players making subsequent deposits, depositing funds by various preferred payment methods, turning friends on to gambling websites, as well as other bonuses to be bagged. And yes, we can all look forward to a number of very original and highly creative perks designed especially to lure in new gamblers game on gaming… and keep them coming back for amour.

The Casino System – Online Casino Bonuses

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

The casino system is a system by which the casinos attach new customers. The idea behind it is competition. There are hundreds or even thousands of online casinos and all of them have pretty much the same games. As a result, they must use something else to make themselves more competitive and attract more clients. Online casinos do not have the advantages of having a theme or offering other amenities that attract customers so they offer bonuses for joining the site.
These bonuses come in a variety of different methods. The most popular is of course the cash bonuses. These bonuses are usually placed in your account as soon as you sign up and are usually available for withdrawal after you complete the requirements. Up until recently cash bonuses were just that you simply signed up and then you could withdrawal the bonus however, due to scalpers this is no longer possible.
You now have to fulfill certain requirements in order to be able to obtain the bonus. This can be anything from having to play a certain number of games to having to wager a total of a certain amount, there may even be deposit requirements or membership length requirements for you to obtain the bonuses. To get around this type of casino system there are a number of guides which show you how to make the most out of the bonuses that casinos offer.
There is usually no limit to the number of establishments you can join. Which means you can take advantage of the bonuses from all of these casinos. If you know how to play the casino system properly you can easily take advantage of a wealth of opportunity. There are guides, which provide the steps necessary to make the most of these types of casino system bonuses.
These guides teach you how to make the most of low odd games that are offered by the casinos. Low odd games usually have low wager amounts and usually have the best actual odds of any of the games in the casino. This means that you can easily get the majority, all or even more than your initial cash bonus legitimately.
Cash guides are a great way to make the most of the casino system of bonuses by showing you, which games to play, and how to make the most of all the various incentives that can be offered in addition to cash bonuses.

Online Casinos: Bonuses and Play-Through Requirements

Friday, February 19th, 2010

Most online casinos offer bonuses of some sort or another, which could be in the form of sign-on bonuses, frequent player bonuses, or bring-a-friend incentives. While they can seem very enticing, you can be sure that there will be restrictions and requirements attached to each. Unfortunately a lot potential players don’t take the time to read the terms and conditions that are attached to each casino. Those players who take the time to do their research and read through the fine print will have a better understanding on how the bonuses are paid out and which games qualify for the bonuses.
Many online casinos offer their bonuses automatically upon sign-up, however there are some that have time requirements that must be meet in order to claim the bonus. Usually a bonus will be a certain percentage of the initial deposit, and not to exceed a set dollar amount. For example, if the sign-on bonus is 50% of your initial deposit, then when you deposit $200.00, then your bonus amount will be $100.00. If the limit on the bonus is $200.00, then your bonus money will never be over $200.00, even if you deposit more than $400.00. Every online casino has some sort of sign-on bonus for new depositing players and they are usually described in the “Promotional” section of the casino website. Frequent player bonuses are set up in much the same way, with a percentage paid out on your deposit and a set limit on the amount of the bonus. The bring-a-friend bonus is normally set up as an amount per player that you “bring” to the casino.
Just about all of these bonuses are going to require a play-through, and just as the bonus amounts vary, the play-through requirements vary also. These have been established by the casinos so that players won’t sign-up to play, collect their bonus money, and then cash out right away without any play time at all. Most of the time, the play-through is set up as multiples of the qualifying deposit plus the bonus. This sounds a lot more complicated than it really is. Let’s take our earlier bonus example and attach a play-through requirement of 15 “times” the deposit. This would mean that you add your $200.00 initial qualifying deposit to the $100.00 bonus money, which would total $300.00. Multiply this $300.00 with the play-through requirement of 15, which brings the total to $4500.00. What this means, exactly, is that you will need to wager a total of $4500.00 before you can withdraw your winnings. For example, if you are playing blackjack and wagering $10.00 a hand, then you will need to play a total 450 hands in order to meet these restrictions.
There are other restrictions that online casinos will sometimes attach to the bonus money that they offer. Some casinos will exempt certain games from the play-through structure, so that any wagers made while playing these games will not be applied. The most common games that you will see exempt are roulette, craps, or blackjack. There are also some games that have additional restrictions and will only apply a portion of the wager to fulfill your play-through requirement. In other words, if the casino states that only ¼ of your wager is applied, then for every $20.00 that you wager, only $5.00 will be applied to your play-through. You will normally find this restriction on video poker, craps, or blackjack. There are some casinos that have no wagering requirements at all, but they are almost impossible to find, and usually the bonuses are not very large.
One of the most important things to remember is to always look through the terms and conditions that are established by each casino before you accept any bonus or incentive money. These should be easy to find on the casino website, and most are not too difficult to understand. If you find that you don’t understand what the terms and conditions are, then call customer service and ask questions. It never hurts to make sure that you understand completely what is expected of you and to know exactly what you should expect from the casino. Just take some time, do your research, and read the fine print. Oh, and remember, to always have fun! Good luck!
