this year proved that the game is not about luck as many people say, the pro/amature ratio has gotten bigger and bigger each day.

The biggest tournament I played in had 300 runners @ Star City Casino (Sydney, Australia)…let me tell you.
I came 17th…and sitting down for hours on end gets very tiring…having to think constantly, raising, calling, betting…it takes mental stamina and physical strength to pull through…
For all you who think this is easy because you watch snippets of a 2 week tournament like WSOP…go drown yourselves you douches…
July 2nd, 2010 at 12:35 am
ill be there!
July 2nd, 2010 at 12:44 am
@Finkpad Shame we can’t see the other one…
July 2nd, 2010 at 1:32 am
I still miss Estelle Denis… why can’t someone be gentlemanly and let her win some chips for her to stay in this comp?! I will…

Wow Hachem with the world class fold. People who say it’s an easy fold need to chill out. Try playing in a tournament where you might wait up to 30 minutes for a hand like that and tell me it’s easy to fold it and wait another 30 minutes. It’s a big fold and Hachem made it look easy.

@richgirl85176
Eventually you will learn to pick up tells that will help you later in the hand.
Yeah I can answer your other question, I would tell a new No Limit player player is to score some free cash from Full Tilt with registration code ACEOFCLUBS.
Using this method, you can get double your first deposit. So just deposit $50 to your new FullTilt account, and they will award you an additional $50. This will work all the way up to $600! Really recommend giving it a try..

lol @ people thinking they know everything about poker.
July 2nd, 2010 at 3:46 am
the comentator licks Ivey’s balls
July 2nd, 2010 at 4:28 am
hachem… phenomenal fold!!!
July 2nd, 2010 at 5:16 am
Yea Stu Ungar gets ignored because of the troubled lifestyle he lived. All i hear on espn is Chan, Brunson, Moss etc but the pros know who the real best ever was
July 2nd, 2010 at 5:52 am
@K8GIXXERider so u rather have JT/JQ than AK..? if so then ur not at the right place..
July 2nd, 2010 at 6:02 am
norman fag said peter eastgate is trying to become the first champion to win back too back since 1988, that bitch ass motherfucker talks like he don’t know about stu ungar the best poker player that ever lived
July 2nd, 2010 at 6:05 am
one of the great things about AK is you can actually get away from it and lay it down. You cant lay KK or even QQ down its almost impossible.
July 2nd, 2010 at 6:46 am
sorry chap, but it’s far from one of the best hands. for starters, any pair preflop is better. J10 / JQ hit a lot more often than AK. How do u think it got it’s nick-name. AK = Anna Kournikova – looks good but wins f*uk all. It’s a hand that if u play too often it will get u knocked out. u keep thinking it’s 1 of the best hands and it’ll keep coming back and raping your chips!! good luck with your AK chap….
July 2nd, 2010 at 7:12 am
@K8GIXXERider how can AK be overratted… its one of the best tournament hands …
July 2nd, 2010 at 8:07 am
4:45 = Joe Hachem down syndrome moment lol
July 2nd, 2010 at 8:30 am
I swear Phillips is growing on me.
July 2nd, 2010 at 9:25 am
I think your comment is overrated
July 2nd, 2010 at 9:39 am
retard logic.
July 2nd, 2010 at 10:16 am
Put Phil Ivey next to Mr. Hachem. That will shut him up.
July 2nd, 2010 at 11:04 am
Unless you’re playing a all in maniac, not a real good hand to call with. No drawing hand is unless you are getting good pot odds.
July 2nd, 2010 at 11:57 am
You’d prefer he limped in to everything?
July 2nd, 2010 at 12:54 pm
definitely between these two, HAchem is much better.
July 2nd, 2010 at 12:56 pm
it is a good fold 4 hachem, but not a difficult one. AK is over rated, esp off-suit.
July 2nd, 2010 at 1:41 pm
@JacobsSilhouette All those steroids have clouded his judgement lol
July 2nd, 2010 at 1:53 pm
eastgate = andy murray XD
July 2nd, 2010 at 2:03 pm

July 2nd, 2010 at 3:08 pm
cook what a spastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
July 2nd, 2010 at 3:42 pm
@orionpk90
Any poker player that comments they woulda thrown that hand away LYING!
To answer the other question you had, my advice to anyone is to score some free cash from Full Tilt with bonus code ACEOFCLUBS
With this code, you can get double your first deposit. For example make a first deposit of $30 to your new Full Tilt account, and they will award you an additional $30. It will work all the way up to $600! Great for someone just starting off.
July 2nd, 2010 at 3:45 pm
Fear separates the wheat from the chaff at the main event.
July 2nd, 2010 at 4:02 pm
Cook = mental midget
July 2nd, 2010 at 4:50 pm
seriously, i thought he was slowplaying while actually he was playing pot control!?!?!? unreal
July 2nd, 2010 at 5:37 pm
@gycsamps i think so
July 2nd, 2010 at 5:37 pm
el nasr didn’t take the hint…
July 2nd, 2010 at 6:25 pm
Scott Cook officially is a vag. “I can’t do it” = I have no balls, ya this why bad players lose. Stack off when they shouldn’t and get the minimum when they have the goods.
July 2nd, 2010 at 7:19 pm
@420Kasper420 – I completely understand and agree with what you’re saying… but I wouldn’t eliminate “fear” completely. Don’t forget, they got $10,000 invested. But yeah, weak play.
July 2nd, 2010 at 8:00 pm
y’know what the sad part is about that 55? He was TRULY proud and happy of the result, and of the way he played it.
How do these douche-bags make it so far? lol
July 2nd, 2010 at 8:59 pm
I can’t do it (checks, showdown), Oh I’m dumb!
July 2nd, 2010 at 9:25 pm
i love the guy that checked a full house in position. jennifer tilly anyone
July 2nd, 2010 at 10:19 pm
wow what a fucking idiot that guy with 55
July 2nd, 2010 at 11:16 pm
idiot didnt do anything with a fullhouse……. 3:00
July 3rd, 2010 at 12:01 am
Phillips’s and Hachem’s whining about their missed set is soooo pathetic……… did I feel some irony from J.C. at 8:03?
I like Eastgate though, he’s humble, good player. Clearly you can feel that they make him say these stupid things during his interview, like “I’m still hungry”.
July 3rd, 2010 at 12:23 am
Next to Jamie Gould (who is mildly entertaining) yang is by far the worst Main event winner.
July 3rd, 2010 at 12:51 am
and kang doesn’t look german ;>
July 3rd, 2010 at 1:22 am
6:03 jerry yang doesnt even look asian -_-
