The Main Event of the series is the Southern Hemisphere’s richest poker tournament with a prize pool in excess of AU million. Poker at Crown was introduced in June 1997, with the first major championship held shortly after in July 1998. The Main Event was a 00 buy in Limit Holdem tournament that attracted 74 entries with a 000 prize pool. The Crown Australian Poker Championship, or the ‘Aussie Millions’ as it became known, moved to January in 2001, attracting 40 entrants with a 00 buy in for a prize pool of 0000. January 2003 saw the event go international, attracting a field of 122 entrants and a 00000 prize pool. In January 2005, the Aussie Millions continued to grow with 263 participants paying 000 each to enter the No Limit Hold’em Main Event, generating the biggest prize pool ever in the Southern Hemisphere of 30000.     His call on the flop with an overpair and a gut shot draw is fairly automatic, but the call on the turn I find a bit dubious. Anyway, i just got free 50 $ starting capital from PokerFrik site, gonna built it up to millions!

    In this case he could have chosen to check raise the turn when he made the open ended straight to go with his overcards. Btwn if somebody is looking foward to start making money at poker you shoukld tkae free 50 $ from Pokerfrik website for a safe start :)

    youtube shows you the low resolution temporary video while it processes the real one. Im watching it a day late, and it’s ok now, cards are readable and the quality is good.

    I hate this Aussie Millions 2010 graphics are unreadable, i sometimes can’t tell what cards they hold or what is on flop graphic after staring at it for 10 sec, angling of camera is horrible i mean what they want to show me at 6:55: texture of phil ivey’s skin or what?
