If you really need a use for the running press down spin attack well then you’ll have to wait until SEGA puts a Catterkiller(Purple Worm from Sonic 1) clone in this game cause the easiest way to kill Catterkiller is to running press down spin attack will kill it. Cause trying to kill Catterkiller any other way is a bitch.

@supermariosoniclover No, just hop on his back side, or Homing Attack his booty, but the spin dash his back works too. (Lolz I said booty butt.)

I think you can kill that enemy by using the spin dash move behind him.

@SmilingSuncakeStudos Ok and so you’ll know what the last bosses last ditch final move is, well I read that the pounds the floor and breaks it or something simliar to that, so thats something I at least want you to know so you can be more prepared to dodge it or at least know what it is so you can work out how to deal with it later on when you reach it. Hit its weak pont for massive damage. I think you have to attack it from behind.

Oh yeah just some fair warning but the last boss in this game despite the fact you get rings for him, I heard its as hard as ****, so I’d be prepared to have a lot of lives racked up just in case, oh and another warning is that the last boss also has a last ditch effort final move, anyways thats just a little bit of info of warning to be prepared, I hope I didn’t spoil anything or ruin the game for you by telling you this.
