Update: November 10, 2008: Online casino software giant Microgaming has decided to stop accepting new players from the United States. All existing players may continue to make deposits, play all the games and withdrawal winnings as usual.
Following the sneaky passing of the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet
Gambling Enforcement Act) in October of 2006, some online
casinos decided to pull out of the market in the United
States. However, some casinos stuck with their American
customers and continue to provide access to their casino
games.
Some casinos accept players from all US states while others have restricted access from states that have laws on the books that specifically make it illegal to gamble online. We are not offering legal advice to US gamblers, we are simply listing the online casinos that still accept gamblers from the Unites States for informational purposes only. If you have any question about the legality of gambling online where you live, you should consult legal counsel.
